Home Made Almond Crackers

I love making my own crackers and buying less packaged food when I have time.

This recipe is simple and satisfying.

Let me know what you think in the comments below.

ALMOND FLOUR CRACKERS

You will need:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1/3 cup cassava flour

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed meal

  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons almond milk

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Mix all ingredients together in the order listed.

If the mixture feels a bit dry, 2 more tablespoons of almond milk.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the dough on top and flatten it out with your hands. Do your best to press it into a layer that’s as thin as possible.

You can sprinkle with grated parmesan or flaky salt if you like.

Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is turning golden.

Turn off the oven.

Remove the crackers from the oven and cut them into two large pieces. Flip the pieces over and return them to the oven for 5 minutes.

Remove from the oven again.

Cool for 30 minutes on the parchment.

Cut into squares and store in airtight containers in your pantry.

These are best when eaten within 3 or 4 days of being made.
